The Australian Tourist Commission (ATC) has launched new vacation packages to Australia starting from $US1299 for two weeks on

The great value deals include:
-12-night, self-drive accommodation and car rental package
from Sydney to either Melbourne or Brisbane, plus international
airfares on Qantas, from $1299
- six nights in Sydney and six nights in Melbourne or Brisbane, plus
all airfares, from $1299
- 12 nights’ accommodation in Sydney, the Great Barrier Reef and
Adelaide/Kangaroo Island or Melbourne, as well as all airfares,
from $1799.

From as little as $239 more, visitors can extend any of these vacations by four days and three nights and explore Tasmania, the Northern Territory, regional Victoria and New South Wales, or Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland.

The ATC’s Vice President for the Americas, Mr Michael Londregan, said the new packages would allow Americans to experience more Australia at a great price.

“We’ve designed our new packages to really showcase Australia’s amazing diversity and our major icons such as Sydney and the Reef,” he said.

“And the four-day add on options represent tremendous value for those who have a desire to discover more of Oz.

“From Tasmania’s pristine wilderness areas to the mystical Aboriginal culture of the Outback, the wine regions and picturesque rural settings in country Victoria and New South Wales to Queensland’s world-class beaches, there’s an adventure for everyone.”
